The MNAA presents the new acquisitions: Two studies for the illustration of «Os Lusíadas» by Luís de Camões - Vasco da Gama before the Samorim of Calicut and The Banquet on the Island of Love - by Francisco Vieira, known as Vieira Portuense (1765-1805) ; Saint Paul, Saint Remigius of Rheims and Saint James attributed to the circle of Cornelis Engebrechtz (1462-1527); and The Month of April by Baltasar Gomes Figueira (1604-1674) and Josefa d’Ayala, known as Josefa de Óbidos (1630-1684).
