This is the first international presentation after the great exhibition of Colorno (2004) of the remarkable collection formed by the renowned Italian designer, editor and bibliophile who was born in Parma in 1937.

Around one hundred works of painting and sculpture from the 16th to the 20th century are exhibited in the MNAA, taking us on a fascinating journey through the art of human representation. Names like Filippo Mazzola, Jacopo Ligozzi, Philippe de Champaigne, Bernini, Canova and Thorvaldsen, among many others, reflect the heterodox taste of the collector and illustrate the history of Western art in a unique way.

Curated by José de Monterroso Teixeira, the exhibition once again occupies the entire Temporary Exhibition Gallery and exceptionally the MNAA Library (a nucleus that brings together some of the most notable editions of FMR).
