MNAA | Clean and Safe

2020 clean and safe 980x380

National museums, palaces and monuments under the supervision of Direção-Geral do Património Cultural (DGPC), which includes the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (MNAA), were certified with the “Clean & Safe” seal by Turismo de Portugal.

Within the scope of the COVID-19 pandemic, Turismo de Portugal created the “Clean & Safe” seal to distinguish companies in the sector that comply with the hygiene and careful cleaning requirements for the prevention and control of this virus, in order to to allow tourism enterprises, tourist entertainment companies, museums and monuments to have a tool that certifies them as safe establishments, guaranteeing the tourist’s confidence in the destination.

These measures comply with the recommendations of Direção-Geral de Saúde (DGS), the Directorate-General for Health, which ensures the necessary hygiene to avoid risks of contagion and ensure safe procedures for the operation of tourist activities.
